These are screen captures for Columbia, Missouri using the Climate Consultant 3 software. As you can see the temperature range fairly wide range over the course of a year. And the wind generally stay below 25 mph. The humidity is moderate. And most of the year sun shading is not a major concern. Data gained from the charts produced from this software will be very useful when designing for sustainability.

I think you will find the winds are not so uniform were you to analyze for say the winter or the summer months separately. It’s important to go beyond the averages and look at the challenging seasons separately. Then the charts might reveal something about strategy.
